Howard Brothers a Semi-Finalist for Indie Award

Howard Brothers, a member of Independent We Stand, a movement of independently owned local businesses, has been chosen as one of the five semi-finalists for the first ever Independent Business of the Year Award called “The Indie.”

This award has been established to recognize and reward the best locally owned business in the country, according to an announcement issued by the company. Howard Brothers is a True Value hardware store and specializes in selling outdoor power lawn equipment.

“This is a huge honor for our little company,” said Andy Darnell, manager of marketing and communications for Howard Bothers. “For many years, our customers have recognized the type of service that you can expect from Howard Brothers. We really have our customers to thank for the opportunity to even be recognized at this point. We count our customers as friends and family and are excited to come to work each day to help them with their problems and projects.”

Help Howard Brothers win by voting for the company online through Dec. 7. The final winner will be announced Dec. 12.
