JCPenney Home Store in Duluth to Close Oct. 1

Shoppers can find discounts ranging from 30 to 70 percent right now at the JCPenney Home Store in unincorporated Duluth. The store, located at 2255 Pleasant Hill Road, is scheduled to close Oct. 1. JCPenney announced the closing of five underperforming department stores across the country and the one home store in Duluth earlier this year. The JCPenney department stores at Gwinnett Place Mall and Mall of Georgia will remain open. The Duluth JCPenney Home Store had been slated to close June 1, but the date was extended until Oct. 1.
