Man Killed In Duluth Shooting Identified

The fatal shooting happened near Shackleford Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard​, police say.

DULUTH, GA — The 19-year-old man who was killed in a Duluth shooting on Thursday has been identified.

Gwinnett County Police on Friday said Xavier Tyler Stephens was killed in the shooting, which happened around 1 a.m. near Shackleford Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard.

Stephens suffered from at least one gunshot wound, police said. He later died of his injuries at a hospital, police said.

Police did not release details of a suspect or reveal a motive in the shooting. Details that led the shooting were not immediately known.
