• Gwinnett County family traumatized after swatting incident on Christmas Eve (41nbc.com) — Police say a false 911 report sent heavily armed officers to a Sugar Mill Drive home near Duluth on Christmas Eve, terrifying a local family before officers realized no crime had occurred. Investigators believe the incident was a dangerous “swatting” prank and are still working to identify who placed the bogus call, while the family says they’re left shaken and without answers. 
• Gwinnett teen accused in Buford Highway chase was wanted for drive-by shooting (wsbtv.com) — A 17-year-old wanted in a Lawrenceville drive-by shooting is accused of fleeing deputies from the intersection of Buford Highway and Duluth Highway in Duluth, reaching speeds over 120 mph. The chase ended in Norcross with several cars hit but no hospitalizations, and the teen now faces additional charges after being taken into custody without further incident.

I’ve been a long time lurker in this community and finally have a place to call our own. I recently acquired chickens. My wife and I designed and… (Nextdoor Duluth) - Hi, there’s a medium sized blonde poodle wearing a red shirt and collar running down Satellite Blvd in Duluth.
A couple of us tried to catch him, but he would just run away. We were trying to prevent him from getting hit, as he is just wandering ON the road. (Nextdoor Bridge Water)
