Veterans Day is a national holiday, but there are local reminders in Duluth of those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
According to the city website, the streets of Duluth are lined with hundreds of markers and flags, representing those who served in the armed forces. The flags and markers are on display the week before and after Memorial Day, and also the week before and after Veterans Day.
This particular shot, of course, is on the Town Green near the Eastern Continental Divide marker.
