Street crews will close portions of West Lawrenceville Street between Hill Street and Irvindale Road in Duluth beginning Monday, June 13, for asphalt repair and paving. The work is expected to be complete by Friday, June 17, according to an announcement by the city. The area will be open to local traffic only. Motorists are advised to use Ga. Hwy. 120 during this construction period.  They should also exercise caution and observe warning and detour signs when driving in the area. (See detour map.)  For more information, contact the City of Duluth Planning and Development Department at 770-476-1790.
