All Saints Catholic Church to Hold Special Mass June 28

All Saints Catholic Church will have a special mass on June 28, 7 p.m. as it participates in Fortnight for Freedom 2013.

The church, at 2443 Mount Vernon Rd., posted about the national Fortnight event on Facebook and on its website, which reads in part:

Please join Catholics across the country in fourteen days of prayer, action and study for religious freedom in the United States and abroad. Beginning on June 21, the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More and ending on July 4, Independence Day, this year’s observance in the Archdiocese of Atlanta will first and foremost be covered in prayer.
