Creative Kingsley Charter Kids Heading to International Tournament

The D.I. Doughnuts of Kingsley Charter Elementary School earned a spot in the Global Finals of Destination ImagiNation after capturing second place in the Georgia affiliate tournament, held March 23 at Duluth High School. The global competition will be held in May in Knoxville, Tenn.

Team members are Ilana Funk, Hudson Griffin, Allie Hearn, Grant Jones, Nathan Kleber, Marisa Lambert and Colton Letbetter, and team managers are Tom Lambert and Dori Kleber.

Kingsley Elementary was represented by three teams at the Georgia event.

Destination ImagiNation is an international organization that encourages students to learn teamwork and use their creativity to solve open-ended challenges.
