Due To Storm, DeKalb Makes Decision On After-School Events
National Weather Service issues 'Severe Weather Outlook' for afternoon and evening.

DUNWOODY, GA -- As inclement weather moves into the metro area, the DeKalb County School District canceled all extracurricular after-school activities on Wednesday, March 1.
The district said that after-school care will be provided for students as scheduled. The changes come as severe storms loomed for much of the region.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Weather Outlook for a swath of central and north Georgia for the afternoon and evening.

Basketball playoff games involving Miller Grove High School and Lithonia High School will continue as scheduled, the district said.
