Dunwoody City Council Supports $1 Million Improvements to Mount Vernon and Vermack Roads

The Dunwoody City Council members expressed support for improvements to the Mount Vernon and Vermack roads intersection, which would cost an average of $1 million.

Council members reviewed three options, ranging from $900,000 to $1.1 million, to add left turn lanes at the intersection.

The $1.1 million option, supported by a couple council members, includes left turn lanes, sidewalk extensions and bicycle lane extensions, according to a report from The Reporter Newspapers.
