Dunwoody Continues Street Paving and Sidewalk Improvement Plans

Paving season throughout the City of Dunwoody began in early June at on Meadow Lane and Crown Pointe Parkway in the Perimeter area and will continue throughout the city through the month of August.

The city committed more than 40 percent of its capital budget– $2 miliion– to road improvement this year.

Lane closures on two-lane main thoroughfares will likely occur during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Citizens can stay updated on lane closures by reviewing the city's repaving schedule and map here.

Roads to be repaved were selected based on the results of the 2009 Citywide Pavement Evaluation which provided a numerical condition rating between 0-100 for all of the roads in the City.  Since 2009, including this year’s investments, the City has spent more than $6.5 million paving roads in Dunwoody.
