A doctor and nurse from a Dunwoody clinic were arrested on Wednesday afternoon on charges of running a pain pill mill. According to a TV report from <a href="http://www.wsbtv.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">WSB-TV</a>, Dr. Nisar Piracha was arrested following an ongoing investigation of the Drug Enforcement Agency on charges of running an illegal pain pill mill at his clinic at 11 Dunwoody Park. Piracha's practice focused on minor surgery, physician-assisted weight loss, chronic pain management and aesthetic treatments, according to <a href="http://www.surgerywellnessdoctor.com/about/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the clinic's website</a>. The website states that Piracha has been a practicing general surgeon for more than 30 years and has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 2011. A nurse was also arrested, according to the report. Dunwoody Patch has left messages for the spokesman for the Georgia DEA to get more details about this incident and will update this story as soon as more is available.
