Dunwoody High School Band Selling Over $10K of Items in Auction

Beginning Nov. 14, the auction includes items like fitness classes, a timeshare vacation, an electric guitar and passes to Disney World.

Does bidding online to support a program at Dunwoody High School sound like music to your ears? It might if you knew a one-week timeshare or passes to Disney theme parks were at stake.

The Dunwoody High School Band began its annual silent auction Friday, selling more than $10,000 worth of items donated from local and national establishments.

El Azteca, Farm Burger, Nathan’s Driving School and a number of other local businesses donated gift cards and services to the auction, but there are some big name items up for grabs, too. Bidders can win a Schmidt Idol electric guitar and stand or even four One-Day Park Hopper Passes to Disney World.
