Dunwoody High School's Valedictorians, Salutatorian Named

The DeKalb county schools district released the names of this year's valedictorians and salutatorians.

Hayley Hopkins and Hardika Dhir are Dunwoody High School's valedictorians this year, and William Koval is the salutatorian, the DeKalb county school district announced Tuesday.

Hopkins, a finalist for National Merit Scholarship and an AP Scholar with Distinction, is considering whether to go to Northwestern University, University of Chicago, or Cornell University, the district said.

Dhir, also an AP Scholar with Distinction whose intended major is biomedical engineering, also has a choice to make: between Georgia Tech, Emory or Johns Hopkins, according to DCSD.

Koval is Emory University-bound and has a received the AP Scholar Award among other honors.

According to the school district's website, Dunwoody High School's graduation ceremony is Thursday, May 23, at 5:30 p.m. at North DeKalb Stadium.
