Dunwoody Officials 'Ride to the Capitol'
Several Dunwoody city officials braved winter-like conditions earlier this week for the annual Ride to the Capitol event.
Despite snow flurries, low temperatures, and bracing winds, Dunwoody city councilman Doug Thompson and Mayor Pro Tempore Denny Shortal were among hundreds of riders who participated in the 8th annual Ride to the Capitol earlier this week.
Dunwoody city councilman Terry Nall was at the start of the trek, ringing a cowbell to send local riders on their way.
More than 20 other elected officials - mayors, commissioners, and councilmembers- led the peloton to the Gold Dome to rally and show support for the implementation of Georgia's new statewide Complete Streets policy.
