Dunwoody Teacher Nominated as Life Changer of the Year

Elaine Mach, a second grade teacher at Dunwoody Elementary School, has been nominated as a "LifeChanger of the Year" by students, parents, and coworkers.

Each year, the LifeChanger of the Year program recognizes and rewards 10 school district employees and educators who make a positive difference in the lives of students.

Mach was nominated by students, fellow district employees, and parents who gave a description of why she has made a positive impact in the lives of students.

The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 personal cash award along with a $5,000 donation to his or her school. The remaining LifeChangers will also receive personal cash prizes and school donations on a tiered level.

LifeChangers will be recognized in early March.
