Food Pantry in Need of Critical Items
The Community Assistance Center gives food to about 500 families each month, including Dunwoody residents.

The Community Assistance Center’s Food Pantry, which serves Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, says it has a critical need for some food items.
The CAC gives food to about 500 families every month, and donations are needed to keep the shelves stocked.
Needed items include:

- Assorted vegetables (canned)
- Peas (canned)
- Baked veans
- Tuna & canned meats
- Cereal
- Mac & cheese
- Tomato sauce
- Peanut butter
To donate, bring items to the front door of the center, located at 1130 Hightower Trail in Sandy Springs, between 9 and 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 to 11 a.m. Friday and between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and second Saturdays of the month.
