King and Queen Crowned at Dunwoody Homecoming
In a landslide victory, special needs students Gus Ashbury and Hannah Keen were voted homecoming royalty.

When faced with electing two beloved senior class representatives for their homecoming festivities, the 1,200 students at Dunwoody High School voted nearly unanimously for two classmates who happen to have special educational needs.
Announced as the homecoming royalty at Friday’s halftime of the homecoming game versus Miller Grove, Gus Ashbury and Hannah Keen accepted their crowns while beaming with pride.
Ashbury, a student with autism, was escorted by his mother to receive his award, while Keen, who has Down’s syndrome, was escorted by her older brother.
