'Person Of Interest' Bought Shoes With Fraudulent Card In Dunwoody: Police
Dunwoody police seek to talk to man who purchased some shoes with a fraudulent credit card from Perimeter Mall.
DUNWOODY, GA -- Police in Dunwoody are soliciting the public's help in finding a "person of interest" who made a purchase with a fraudulent credit card in a department store.
Police are looking to talk to the man, who entered the Von Maur store at Perimeter Mall in February 26 and bought three pairs of men's shoes. The items totaled $167.99, police said. Law enforcement officials are sharing photos taken from a security camera in hopes that someone may recognize the man.
The Von Maur store has been in the crime headlines recently: The Dunwoody store was the same location where an 86-year-old woman known internationally as an unapologetic jewel thief was banned from shopping at during a court appearance.
