Still Time to Sign Up for 19th Annual Lauren's Run

The event helps support funding for research of childhood cancer in hopes of finding a cure.

Hundreds will gather on Sunday in Concourse Office Park to participate in the 19th Annual Lauren's Run and CURE Picnic, named after Lauren Zagoria, a toddler who lost her life to cancer.

The event supports CURE and has raised $3 million for childhood cancer research since its inception in 1992, and the run continues today in honor of Lauren Kochman, a 20-month-old girl who lost her life to cancer in 2001.

The last day to register online for the race is May 3 at 2 p.m. Registration fees for adults is $25 in advance and $35 on race day. Children 12 years and younger can register for $20. The picnic is free for the public.
