Strong-Arm Robber Snatches Purse, iPhone In Dunwoody

DUNWOODY, GA -- Police in Dunwoody are asking the public's help in finding the perpetrator of a recent strong-arm robbery at Perimeter Mall. The incident happened in broad daylight about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mall on Ashford Dunwoody Road.

That's when a man described as "younger" man (ages 18 to 25) came from behind her, snatched her purse and fled toward the mall parking deck, Dunwoody police said. The thief is described as a black male, wearing a white shirt and grayish pants.

Mall security officers were able to find the victim's purse and other items, but her iPhone has not been recovered, authorities said.
