Ten Dunwoody High School Students Finalists for Governor's Honors Program

Selected participants in the residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors will spend four weeks at Valdosta State University.

 

DeKalb County School District announced Tuesday that the following students at Dunwoody High School are among 36 in the district selected as finalists for the
Georgia Governor's Honors Program:

  • Zachary Bloomberg, Mathematics
  • Elizabeth Cleary, German
  • Jeanne Davis Communicative Arts
  • Thomas Dellaert, Mathematics
  • Josh Galerstein, Music/Brass (Tuba)
  • Mallory Harris, Mathematics
  • Joshua Klein, Music/Brass (Trumpet)
  • Mary Elizabeth Lee, Mathematics
  • Robin Spratling, Spanish
  • Jacky Zhu, Mathematics

Selected participants in the The Governor's Honors Program, which is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors, will spend four weeks at Valdosta State University. This summer's  program will be its 50th. It is the longest continually running program of its kind
in the nation, DCSD says.
