Traffic Alert: Construction to Slow Traffic in Dunwoody
Drivers should plan accordingly for travel over the next 10 months.

Give yourself some extra time in the morning if your travel involves passing Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive.
Construction for the State Farm project at the intersection will temporarily limit traffic on southbound traffic on Perimeter Center Parkway to one through lane, according to the news release.
Two southbound lanes on Perimeter Center Parkway will be closed and redirected so construction crews can access the site, according to the news outlet. Traffic will be moved to the east side of the street between Hammond Drive and Goldkist Drive as the construction takes place over the next 10 months.

Construction crews will be building tunnels beneath Perimeter Center Parkway to create access to the new building and parking deck.
There will also be a new northbound left turn lane from Perimeter Center Parkway added to the intersection to improve safety and efficiency for drivers.
