
- Fireworks will illuminate the skies above the King and Queen buildings in Sandy Springs. Music from the band, Shiloh, will begin at 7:30 p.m., Saturday. Residents are encouraged to pack a snack, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars. Water stations will be located throughout the Concourse lawn. Pets, tents, outdoor cooking and personal-use sparklers will not be permitted.
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs an ‘All American Celebration’ at 8 p.m., Friday, at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta. Doors open at 7 p.m.
- Maxwell. The popular soul artist performs at 8 p.m., Saturday at Chastain Park Amphitheater.
- Harry Connick, Jr. The crooner performs at 8 p.m., Sunday at Chastain Park Amphitheater.
- Stand-up-Comedy. Comedian Bert Kreisher performs Friday through Sunday at The Punchline. Visit the website for showtimes.
- Weekend Celebration at Stone Mountain Park. The park will hold its “Lasershow Spectacular” and fireworks on Friday and Saturday. $10 vehicle entry.
- Concert at Hungry Ear Coffee House. Several performers bring folk music and tunes from the ‘60s to the coffee house at Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation church at 1025 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs.
