- Atlanta Prostate Cancer Walk and Celebration. 7 a.m., Saturday, at Perimeter Mall.
- Kids Fall Consignment Sale. Shop for great deals on children's fall and winter clothing, toys, books, baby equipment, and more. Proceeds support the missions ofKingswood United Methodist Church. 5 p.m., Thursday; 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday; 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday. 5015 Tilly Mill Road.
- Breast Cancer Walk. The third annual Randi Passoff Memorial Walk for Breast Cancer at 8 a.m., Saturday. LifeSouth Community Blood Center 4891 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Chastain. The ASO with music director Robert Spano and guest conductor Donald Runnicles, 8 p.m., Friday. Doors open at 7 p.m. Click here for ticket prices
- Sandy Springs Festival. The fun includes arts and crafts, inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, an artists market and more.The annual event is kicked off by the 10K and 5K races at 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m., respectively, Saturday. Festival hour are hours 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday. Tickets are $5 for Adults (age 18+) and $2 for Youth (ages 6 – 17). Children ages 5 and under and Heritage Sandy Springs Members are free. Two-day passes are also available for adults ($7) and youth ($3).
