• MARTA working to install new Breeze system at stations (11alive.com) — MARTA riders using the East Point station should expect ongoing faregate and ticket machine construction as the agency rolls out its new Breeze payment system through spring 2026. While work is phased to keep stations open, riders may need a few extra minutes and should keep using current Breeze cards, tickets, and the existing app until the full transition next April.
   

• Investigation launched into alleged Fulton County voting irregularity (atlantanewsfirst.com) — East Point voters are among roughly 60,000 whose ballots were recounted after an alleged ballot‑scanning irregularity in Fulton County’s Dec. 2 runoff election. State officials have opened an investigation, the poll worker involved has been removed, and results will be certified once the recount is finished.
