• Stranger Things filming locations in Georgia (b985.com) — Fans in East Point can visit the real-life Wheeler family home from Stranger Things at a private residence on Piney Wood Lane, one of several Georgia filming spots. • Georgia DOR Publishes Tax Rates for Exempt Sales in Certain Fulton County Area (bloombergtax.com) — East Point residents are excluded from a new Georgia tax setup that changes how certain sales are exempt from local taxes in parts of Fulton County outside several cities. Starting January 1, 2026, some areas will see different treatment for food and motor vehicle sales, while East Point keeps its existing local tax structure on exempt items.
