About 50 executives from Atlanta's franchising community gathered to discuss best practices to generate business leads at the May meeting of the Southeast Franchise Forum (SEFF), early last week. The group shared ideas and exchanged tips, notably that marketing should be a "balanced meal" of various tactics to reach potential business partners including print and digital advertising, franchise portals, trade shows and public relations.
Panelist Stan Friedman, President of FRM Solutions, said customers will rarely remember accurately where they heard a franchise message, so "you've got to do it all."
Panelist Eric Bell, General Manager for Franchise Gator, agreed saying it's always best to "cast a wide net."
