Let's Help Build A Playground at The Intown Academy
The deadline is March 15th to pledge or donate to the cause.
The students at The Intown Academy are excited to know that they will soon be receiving a state of the art playground from KaBoom. Students were given a chance to help design their "Dream Playground" which is set to be built in April.
The Intown Academy is a K-8 public charter school serving children from the Old Fourth Ward as well as Midtown and with students ultimately feeding into Grady High School. The school seeks assistance from community members and neighbors in the area who want to support the school and its educational mission with the playground initiative:
In order to build the playground, this is a βmatching funds grantβ and the school is raising money to guarantee the grant.Β If you have the means, please consider supporting our neighborhood charter school in their effort to raise the additional funds. Β

If you can, help out the students at The Intown Academy build a beautiful playground that children will be able to use for years.
The Intown Academy would like to create an inviting outdoor space that includes a playground to increase physical activity in our students and components that will expose them to outdoor learning experiences (e.g., weather station/bird houses, etc.)
