Meet Jasmine Williams, the 2013 Carver Early College Valedictorian

Jasmine Williams has made APS' spotlight this week because of her great work in her Biology and Neuroscience Clubs at Carver Early College.

All who learn of the dedication and hard-work that Jasmine Williams gives to her pre-med studies at Carver Early College are impressed and in awe of her accomplishments.

Jasmine Williams has been on the Principal’s List every semester of her high school career, and she also holds membership in the National Honor Society and Beta Club, according to Carver Early College.

  • For 4 years, she has been the SGA President of her grade level
  • She is a scholar-athlete leading the Varsity Soccer Club Team
  • She is a member of Sophisticated Ladies and Upendo JaJa
  • Community service involvement in the Key Club and the Knitting Club
  • Recent internship with the National Institute of Health
  • She will be the valedictorian for this year’s graduation

Williams' future looks brighter than ever, as she decides between going to either Duke University or Howard University to pursue her bachelor's degree.Β  According to her teachers at Carver, Jasmine is interested in being an anesthesiologist or a general surgeon.

Williams will give her valedictorian speech during Carver Early College graduation in late May 2013.
