Resurfacing Work Scheduled in Kirkwood for Aug. 16

Editor's note: The Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has issued this traffic advisory:

KIRKWOOD — A resurfacing project will affect Rockyford Road NE between Wisteria Way NE and Fowler Street NE from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16 through Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Weather permitting, crews will be milling and paving Rockyford Road, resulting in lane closures during construction hours.

Crews will not work over the weekend. Flaggers will be onsite. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
