Watch: The Rock Charms Children At Zoo Atlanta

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson meets and greets a group of children at Zoo Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA -- Children visiting Zoo Atlanta recently got a surprise when they ran into Dwayne β€œThe Rock” Johnson. Johnson, in town filming "Rampage," stopped by the Atlanta institution to show some local love.

Johnson posted about the encounter on Instagram, saying in the caption that "It's called - using my charm to get compliments from 8yr old boys who stare up at me and point like I'm a gigantic beast." "On my breaks from shooting Rampage, my producers and I head over to Atlanta Zoo to meet with animal experts for my research and luckily for me, I run into these brilliant little humans who will one day grow up and do great things in life," he says.

In the Instagram video, when he comes upon the boys they all look on in amazement, asking "Are you the Rock?" Watch it all unfold below.

The multimillion-dollar film is based on the classic 1980s video game featuring monsters wreaking havoc in cities. The movie is set to be released in 2018.
