Today in East Cobb:

  • Beowulf Presented By The Red Onion Press At Mable House Art Center (8:00 AM)

From my notebook:

  • The first garden work day at North Cobb Library's Community Garden involved students from KSU, library staff, Food Well Alliance, and a Master Gardener who mulched, weeded, planted, watered, and hauled dirt to prepare for the growing season. They planted perennial natives to attract pollinators and added two more raised beds and are now eagerly anticipating the start of the Family Garden Club. (Cobb County Public Library via Facebook)
  • Join the Cobb Chamber and top leaders to discover and learn best practices from the forward-thinking Tampa Bay metro region that will benefit the Cobb community for years to come. Reserve your spot today with Presenting Sponsor Brasfield & Gorrie as space is limited. (Cobb Chamber via Facebook)
  • The "Loose Shoes Band" will be performing live for music in the park this Sunday, so don't miss out on their fantastic and family-friendly performance. Plus, it's free, so you have no excuse not to be here and enjoy the show! (Friends for the East Cobb Park via Facebook)
