  1. Exciting news for food enthusiasts in downtown Gainesville! The highly anticipated dual restaurant on Bradford Street NE has finally opened its doors - Buzzed Bull Creamery and Roll On In are now open for business. Roll On In offers a delightful fusion of Asian cuisine, specializing in poke bowls, hibachi, and sushi-style meals. On the other hand, Buzzed Bull Creamery caters to a different crowd, providing alcohol-infused ice creams and milkshakes for those of legal drinking age who want to satisfy their sweet tooth with a buzz. The restaurants will be serving customers daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Subscription: Gainesville Times)
  2. Diandre Andreus Dryden, a resident of Gainesville, is currently facing multiple charges. Earlier this week, he was charged with aggravated assault and attempted feticide, which is separate from the murder charge he is already in prison for. In February, Dryden was indicted on charges of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Latasha Smith. The recent charge emerged during the investigation into Smith's death, as authorities spoke with Dryden's former girlfriend, who revealed details of their abusive relationship. Lt. Kevin Holbrook obtained additional information, leading to the additional charges against Dryden.(Yahoo! Sports)
  3. Authorities in Georgia are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing teenage girl. Jeisy Marroquin, 15, reportedly left her residence in Gainesville during the early hours of Tuesday morning. Concerns for her well-being have prompted the call for community support in the search efforts. If you would like to submit a tip about this case, click here. (WJCL 22 News)
