Here are the top three stories in Gainesville today:
- Rigoberto Osorio-Colin, a 28-year-old of Gainesville, was sentenced to jail time and must pay thousands of dollars in restitution after pleading guilty to a 2021 hit-and-run drunk driving crash that injured a five-month-old girl and two adults. Osorio-Colin will serve 36 months, with the first 120 days in jail and the remainder on probation. (Subscription: Gainesville Times)
