911 Tape of Loganville Burglar Shooting Released: 'She's Shooting Him'
Media is now playing 911 tape of husband talking his wife through the shooting last Friday of a burglar as he broke into her home and found her and her 9-year-old twins hiding in an attic closet space.

The National Rifle Association is citing last week's shooting of an intruder by a Loganville mother as a perfect example of why the citizenry needs to remain armed. The group is scheduled to meet with Vice President Joe Biden today in connection with the president's plans to move quickly on gun control measures in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting.
In the meantime, the 911 tapes have been released - as can be heard here on ABC News - that reveal Donnie Herman was on the phone with his wife and the 911 operator throughout the whole ordeal. It is reported that they had just recently purchased the .38 revolver used and she had been to a shooting range for training. She reportedly was hiding in an attic closet with her 9-year-old twins after locking herself behind a locked bathroom and bedroom door. When Paul Slater, 32, tracked her down in the closet, she opened fire, hitting him five times.
He remains in a Gwinnett County hospital - no details are being released on his current condition. .
