Berkmar Student Suspected of Armed Robbery
Isaiah Jenkins was arrested at his home March 27, and is accused of tasing and robbing teens near the Lilburn high school.
A Berkmar High student has been arrested in connection with the tasing and robbing of teens near the school last December.
Isaiah Jenkins, of Lawrenceville, was taken into custody March 27. According to Gwinnett County jail records, he was charged with:
- Two felony counts of armed robbery
- One felony count of robbery
- One count of theft by receiving stolen property
- One count of battery
The police report for the Dec. 18 incident indicates that Jenkins was part of a four-person robbing crew. According to the three victims, two of whom are teens from Snellville, the crew pulled up to them in an older model Ford Crown Victoria behind the school around 4 p.m.
