Brian McCann Back with the Atlanta Braves
The veteran catcher ends his rehab stint with Gwinnett Braves, who lost two games Sunday.
The Gwinnett Braves lost two games Sunday, as well as Brian McCann. But they gained another player from Atlanta.
Veteran catcher McCann, who had begun a rehab stint with Gwinnett on Thursday, was to rejoin Atlanta in time for Monday's game at Cincinnati, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. McCann was 0-for-1 in Game 1 of Sunday's double-header (as designated hitter) at Coolray Field, and did not play in the second game.
Gwinnett (12-19) now has an eight-game losing streak after losses of 5-1 and 2-1 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
