ATLANTA - Educators, policymakers, researchers, parents and homeschoolers are set to gather in Atlanta on April 29-30 for the first annual National Hybrid Schools Conference – a networking and idea sharing event for this new trend in education.

Sponsored by the National Hybrid Schools Project at Kennesaw State University, hundreds will gather at KSU over the two days to discuss this educational choice option that has been around since the 1990s but has grown exponentially since the pandemic.

Hybrid schools are an educational model that blends homeschooling with traditional, in-school education. Students typically attend class a few days a week in a brick-and-mortar building while spending the rest of the week being homeschooled.
