Lawrenceville Man Arrested in Connection to Malia Ross Homicide
Gwinnett Police have charged Omar Santana, 25 of Lawrenceville in relation to the murder of 21 year old Malia Ross in December.
Gwinnett County Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Norcross woman last December.
After searching a Lawrenceville home, police charged Omar Santana, 25 of Lawrenceville with felony murder, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and aggravated assault. Investigators found evidence of drug sales and evidence from the homicide of Malia Ross, 21, inside the home at on Daniel Lane in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Early in the morning on December 9, 2012, GCPD responded to a call of a shooting at 4161 Phil Niekro Parkway in unincorporated Norcross. Police identified the victim as Ross. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
