Lilburn Police Arrest Teen for Aggravated Child Molestation

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with aggravated child molestation, according to officials at the Lilburn Police Department.

Because of the nature of the crimes, the child is expected to be tried as an adult. Police say the female victim is also a juvenile.

Patch is not releasing the child suspect's name because of this age.

Investigators were alerted to the case "from a concerned family member who thought something might be going on," said Capt. Ben Haynes, of the Lilburn Police.
