• ‘He cleaned out everything': Accused mail thief arrested with suitcase full of stolen identities (wsbtv.com) — Residents at a Gwinnett County apartment complex are being urged to stay vigilant after police say a Duluth man was caught with a suitcase full of stolen mail and personal IDs from their community mail center. Officers arrested the suspect at Woodmere Trace Apartments on Pleasant Hill Road, recovered hundreds of pieces of mail, and say federal postal inspectors are now reviewing the case for possible additional charges.

• Motorcyclist crashes after leading police on chase in metro Atlanta (wsbradio.com) — A motorcyclist accused of reckless driving in Gwinnett County allegedly fled a traffic stop, sped through crowds, and later crashed after running a red light into traffic. Gwinnett police say their aviation unit tracked the bike before the collision, and the rider now faces multiple traffic and fleeing charges.
