Police, Parents Seeking Answers Following Natina Reed's Death
Singer and actress Natina Reed was killed after being struck by a car in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Ga. late Friday evening.
Gwinnett County Police are looking to speak to anyone who can provide more insight into the accidental death of singer and actress Natina Reed.
Reed, 32, was reportedly walking in the road on Lawrenceville Highway late Friday night when she was struck and killed near Hamilton Rd. The driver of the car did stop to call 911 and will not face charges.
However, GCPD investigators are still looking for answers. They would like to speak to "anyone who might have information about anything that could help us determine why she was there, anything to help us understand how this came together,” said GCPD spokesman Sgt. Rich Long to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Reed's parents also want to know where their daughter was coming from and where she was going when she hit and killed.
“She was full of life, tenacity and a visionary always a visionary and very good at what she did,” said Reed’s mother, Tamara Goodridge, to WSB-TV.

Her father told Channel 2 that Reed was on her cell phone as she was trying to cross Lawrenceville Highway.
