Suwanee Restaurant Loses Its Permit
Suwanee Restaurant Inspections again checks on the health inspection of a local eatery.

In a recent inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department, Yuka Roll and Pho in Suwanee had its permit suspended, and was told to undergo a compliance hearing.
In an inspection on May 21, the restaurant at 1197 Old Peachtree Road scored a "45/U" after several violations were noted. It is the second "U" score for the restaurant since March.
The compliance hearing was set for Wednesday in Lawrenceville.

Among the violations noted in the inspection were:
Multiple bottles of bleach stored above rice & barley on the storage shelves. Chemicals moved away from food/food areas at the time of inspection. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they can not contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single service and single-use articles by: 1. Separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning; and 2. Locating the poisonous or toxic materials in an area that is not above food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service or single-use articles. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
