Dor Tamid Welcomes Interim Education Director

Rabbi Lauren S. Cohn joins Johns Creek synagogue.

Congregation Dor Tamid (CDT) has welcomed Rabbi Lauren S. Cohn as its new Interim Director of Education. 

Rabbi Cohn previously served as Director of Youth and Teen Programs at Temple Emanu-El in Atlanta since 2009 and was the Principal of Judaic Studies at The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy in Atlanta for four years. She also served as Director of Education at Congregation Beth Tikvah in Worthington, Ohio.

Ordained as a rabbi from the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati in 2000, Rabbi Cohn holds Masters of Arts degrees in Jewish Education and in Hebrew Letters. She will oversee CDT's Religious School and assist with the B'nai Mitzvah classes.

"I look forward to continuing, and growing, the high quality and best practice religious educational program it offers its youth.”
