Fulton Master Gardeners Seeks New Volunteers

An interest meeting will be held Sept. 15 at the Ocee Public Library in Johns Creek.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Fulton County Cooperative Extension invites residents with a love for gardening and community service to attend an upcoming Master Gardener Program information session.

The all-volunteer Extension Master Gardener program is designed to help Cooperative Extension staff reach more citizens.

Master gardener volunteers benefit from training, networking with other garden enthusiasts and having the opportunity to serve their communities.

An intensive master gardener training program is provided by Fulton County Extension Agents utilizing University of Georgia research-based information about gardening and related subjects.

An informational session will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 16 at the Ocee Public Library at 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road in Johns Creek.
