Fulton Schools Make Decision On Classes, Activities
Fulton County is expected to be included in the Winter Storm Warning area from 5 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

ATLANTA, GA -- Deteriorating weather conditions around the metro Atlanta area has forced the Fulton County School System to close up shop early.
The system will soon begin releasing students early for Friday, Dec. 8 due to inclement weather. High school students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m., middle school students at 1:15 p.m. and elementary school students at 2 p.m., the system said.
Parents who have students in after-school programs (PrimeTime, etc.) can pick them up as soon as possible. All athletic events and other extra-curricular activities occurring on Friday are being cancelled.

"High school students have permission to leave campuses now, and parents are permitted to pick up their students at all schools," the system added.
ACT testing set to be held Saturday, Dec. 9 has also been canceled.
