Johns Creek Man Killed In Cobb County Crash
The accident was reported early Sunday on Delk Road near Interstate 75 in Marietta.
MARIETTA, GA — A Johns Creek man died early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash near an entrance ramp to Interstate 75 in Cobb County. Marietta police responded to the collision around 7:49 a.m. Jan. 13 on the ramp from Delk Road to I-75 southbound.
A preliminary report states a 2017 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on Delk Road approaching the interstate when the vehicle left the roadway, continued onto the grassy median and collided with a utility pole.
The driver of the vehicle, Justin M. Gideon, 25, of Johns Creek, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
