Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra presents "Holidays With the JCSO"

Beloved Holiday Concert to feature Soprano Bethany Mamola and the Johns Creek Chorale at Mount Pisgah Church

Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (JCSO) will take the stage on December 14 to perform “Holidays With the JCSO.” New this year, the concert will be held at Mount Pisgah Church, 2850 Old Alabama Rd in Johns Creek at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this concert range from $22-$55. This concert has been an annual tradition for the Johns Creek community, and this year, the JCSO is ready to present it with a new setlist and guest stars, under the artistic eye of Music Director finalist Paul Bhasin as he makes his JCSO debut.

Holidays With the JCSO is the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra's most popular performance of the year, and under Paul Bhasin’s creative direction, it will feature new arrangements of holiday hits and seasonal scores. The concert will include holiday classics such as “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Hanukkah Festival Overture,” “Joy to the World” and more. Featuring guest soloist Bethany Mamola and The Johns Creek Chorale, this concert will touch the hearts of all and get everyone into the holiday spirit!

About Paul Bhasin

Dr. Paul Bhasin serves as Director of Orchestral Studies at Emory University where he holds the inaugural Donna & Marvin Schwartz Professorship in Music. In this capacity, he conducts the Emory University Symphony Orchestra, Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra, leads Emory’s Music in Italy program, and teaches conducting. He has led honor orchestras and bands (including at the All-State level) and served as a guest orchestral clinician throughout the United States, and presented at national conferences including the Midwest Orchestra Clinic and the National Music Teachers Association Conference. About Bethany Mamola

Soprano Bethany Grace Mamola has charmed audiences with her stage presence and warm vocal timbre. The Cleveland Plain Dealer praised her with “...the most beautiful singing, whose Carolina was as disarming in characterization as it was expressive in vocal shading.” Bethany has been a featured soloist with the National Repertory Orchestra Festival in Colorado, the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta and more. In addition to performance, Dr. Mamola is an enthusiastic educator in voice and opera. She is on the faculty of Emory University as Director of Vocal Studies. About The Johns Creek Chorale

The Johns Creek Chorale has been guided by the vision of its creator, Dr. Nathan Frank, and performed its inaugural concert on November 8, 2015. A dream of many in the community of Johns Creek, Georgia, this choral ensemble satisfies the growing need for high-level choral musicianship.
