- The City of Johns Creek reminds residents that the Shakerag Park turf cricket pitches will be closed from Monday, Aug. 29 to Friday, Sep. 2, for maintenance repairs and the installation of a molded rubber border surrounding the pitch. - In case you missed it: On Thursday, Sep. 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Johns Creek Police Department will host an important and free Suicide Awareness and Prevention event.
